As we approach the first entry exchange of the season a quick reminder about the 8U relays:

8&U relay is an exhibition relay. It is set-up for ribbons but does not score points.

As an exhibition relay this means that 8&U swimmers can swim 5 events. 4 individual scoring events and the relay as exhibition.

Swimtopia can't manage this week however (entry limits), so the process for entering 8&U relays where a swimmer may be in 5 events:

1. Enter the swimmer in all their individual events in Swimtopia prior to lock and meet build.

2. At the time of entry exchange (Thurs evening) email the opposing team your relay swimmers - BOTH teams need to send these so each team has completed information.

3. Host team will enter those swimmers into the 8&U relay in Maestro, Once this is done this will ensure they show up on heat sheets and entry reports.

Note this process is consistent with any exhibition relay- those all need to be emailed and entered manually in Maestro.

Also a reminder that the 150yard free relay is 4 swimmers. 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U - swim up is permitted in relays.
