Good evening!

The February GASL Meeting will be changed to Thursday, February 26th at 6pm at the Harbor Hills Community Clubhouse, 1 Carson Cove, Davidsonville, MD.

Please see below for details about the upcoming meeting so we can try to keep things efficient!

1. Proposed Rules Changes: Please see the attached document for the proposed changes to the GASL rules.  Feel free to comment or email with any additional recommendations or concerns.  If you have any recommendations for Rules changes/amendments at any time, you can use this form to communicate them to the Rules committee.

2. Team Contact Information Updates: All teams please fill out this form with your updated contact information for your Team Reps/Tech Reps/Coaches.  Only three teams have responded so far, I want to make sure everyone is getting the communications from GASL.

3. Dues: All teams should bring their GASL dues to the February meeting, GASL dues are $250 for the 2026 season.

4. Vacant positions: We still have a vacancy for the President-Elect position, please consider if you or someone from your team would be interested in this role!

5. Championship Meet Hosts: Please let me know if your pool would like to host a Championship Meet this year!  We will need two pools to host Bronze, two pools for Silver, and one yards pool to host Gold.  If you are able/willing, please let me know prior to the meeting.

6. 2026 Schedule Requests/July 4th Week Meet Hosts: Please speak with your teams/coaches/pool boards/HOAs about any meet schedule requests for the upcoming season.  I will also need to hear from all teams ASAP regarding availability to host a meet the week of July 4th.  Please e-mail me to let me know:

a. if you can host a meet the week of July 4th

b. if so, what day/time

c. what other scheduling conflicts/requests you have for the season.

I will send out an agenda for the meeting later in February, please try to make sure a representative from your team can attend as we will likely be voting on several matters at this meeting in preparation for the upcoming season.
